A defined project. A useful handover.
SEO audit with evidence and a practical action plan
Understand what holds your website back. Commission a scoped SEO audit with documented findings, clear priorities and checks your team can implement.
Scope and quote agreed before work beginsAn SEO audit should help you decide what to fix, why it matters and who can do the work. Gavek reviews an agreed part of your website and turns the findings into a practical action plan. The scope can cover technical accessibility, indexation, content quality, internal links and measurement. We agree the questions before collecting evidence, so the result addresses your business rather than an arbitrary health score.
What the engagement can deliver
- An agreed review inventory and explanation of sampling limits.
- An evidence-backed issue register with priorities, affected examples and dependencies.
- An action plan with suggested owners and completion checks.
- A findings discussion and a record of open questions.
What we need from you
- Your business goals, priority services, markets and known concerns.
- A website inventory or CMS information where available.
- Authorised access to relevant search or analytics data when needed.
- A contact who can confirm technical constraints and previous changes.
Start with the decisions you need to make
Tell us whether you are investigating a traffic decline, preparing a redesign or deciding where to invest next. We define the markets, templates and important journeys to examine. A large website may need a representative sample rather than an individual review of every URL. The proposal states the coverage, exclusions and access required.
Separate evidence from assumptions
A finding should show the affected URL or template, the observation and its likely consequence. Where relevant, we compare the website with available Search Console evidence and explain any missing data. A crawling restriction, an indexing decision and weak demand are different problems. We record uncertainty instead of presenting every warning as a proven cause of lost traffic.
Prioritise work that can actually happen
Recommendations are grouped by business relevance, severity, confidence and implementation effort. Dependencies matter: changing a template may solve hundreds of repeated issues, while a specialist content review may be needed for one important service page. Your team receives a proposed order of work and the decisions needed to begin. Development, writing and third-party costs are agreed separately where they fall outside the audit.
Define the fix and the check
Each agreed priority includes a suggested owner and an observable completion check. For example, a redirect recommendation identifies the old URL, intended destination and response to verify. A content recommendation identifies the unanswered customer question and the evidence needed to answer it. We can quote a follow-up review after implementation; an initial audit does not imply that changes have already been made.
How the handover is checked
- The agreed website areas are covered and exclusions are recorded.
- Priority findings contain reproducible examples and supporting evidence.
- Recommendations distinguish confirmed issues from hypotheses.
- Your team can identify the next action, responsible role and verification method.
Hypothetical example: a Danish retailer sees fewer visits to category pages after a redesign. The audit checks a sample of old and new category URLs, internal navigation and available search data. The deliverable separates broken redirects from content changes and seasonal demand, then proposes checks for the development team. This is an illustration, not a customer result.

A few good questions
Clarity before you commit.
Need an answer specific to your business? Tell us what you are working on.
Ask GavekWill an audit guarantee higher rankings?
No. It identifies evidence, risks and opportunities. Search results depend on many factors, and completing a checklist does not guarantee a particular ranking or traffic increase.
Do you need administrator access?
Not automatically. We start with the minimum access required and agree any account permissions in advance. Some investigations can use exports or read-only access.
Can Gavek implement the recommendations?
We can agree implementation or work alongside your existing team. The audit proposal makes clear which work is included and which requires a separate scope.
