This hypothetical workflow turns a long issue list into a manageable delivery plan. It makes no claim about a named customer or measured productivity improvement.

This is a hypothetical planning scenario, not a real customer case or a claim of measured Gavek results.

Separate incidents from opportunities

Urgent access and conversion failures need different handling from content opportunities. Confirm the issue before scoring it. Many repeated warnings can share one template cause, so investigate the underlying condition before creating dozens of tasks.

Score with explicit assumptions

Record affected users, commercial relevance, confidence, effort and dependencies. Avoid false precision. The team should understand why something comes first rather than accept an unexplained automatic priority that ignores capacity or approval requirements.

Limit work in progress

Choose a few tasks with owners and acceptance criteria. Keep blocked items visible without occupying every active slot. Coordinate development, editorial and factual approval so started work can actually reach publication.

Review completion and rejection

Verify the result and note what was learned about effort or impact. Remove obsolete tasks and preserve rejection reasons. A maintained backlog should become clearer rather than grow indefinitely with every scan.

Put the method to work

Illustrative example

Illustrative triage: many broken-link warnings originate in one navigation component. The team fixes it, verifies several templates and closes the related findings together. It chooses the next task from customer relevance and dependencies.

Your next steps

  1. Confirm underlying cause and scope.
  2. Record confidence, effort and dependencies.
  3. Limit active work with clear acceptance tests.

Questions & answers

Should the highest software priority always win?

No. Review its assumptions, business relevance and delivery dependencies.

Does task completion prove SEO growth?
