AI visibility
AI search visibility with reproducible observations
AI visibility research examines when a brand, page, or source appears in an AI-generated answer. Record the prompt and context, distinguish a mention from a citation, and connect findings to information quality rather than treating one answer as a stable ranking.

Make the information
useful to your business.
AI answers can vary by wording, time, product, location, account context, and model behaviour. A brand mention does not establish endorsement, accuracy, or customer impact. For Google's AI search features, established search fundamentals remain relevant; there is no guaranteed inclusion formula.
01Understand the baseline
Define a small prompt set from real customer decisions. Group informational, comparison, and selection questions separately. Record language, market, product, date, and observable settings so later checks can be compared meaningfully.
02Choose the work
Capture the answer, visible sources, and the distinction between an unlinked mention and a cited page. Check whether statements about the business are correct. Repeat representative observations before describing a pattern as a trend.
03Verify and learn
Improve the underlying resource: direct explanations, original evidence, accurate business details, clear ownership, and accessible pages. Add useful structure for readers, and maintain consistency between visible content and any structured data.
Use the free Gavek tools for a public-page snapshot and browser-based planning. This wider workflow may require Search Console, a third-party data provider, CMS access or a separately agreed specialist service. Live rank databases, automatic CMS changes and account integrations are not included in the current free tools.

A number should answer
a better question.

Ask GavekIs a brand mention the same as a citation?
No. A mention names the brand; a citation visibly identifies a source or page. Record them separately and verify the surrounding claim before interpreting its value.
Does Google require special GEO markup?
Google's guidance says its AI features use established SEO foundations rather than a special inclusion requirement. Eligibility and good implementation still do not guarantee that a page appears.
