Run a ten-day AI visibility research diary

A short diary helps examine how AI answers describe a business. Ten days is a research window, not a promised timeline for visibility growth.

A short diary helps examine how AI answers describe a business. Ten days is a research window, not a promised timeline for visibility growth.

Establish a fixed record

During the first days, select customer questions in the target language. Save full answers, citations, date and product mode. Define accurate mentions before scoring so the criteria do not change to suit the result.

Investigate one discrepancy

Choose a repeated factual problem, such as an unclear service area. Check public pages and supporting sources. Clarify content only when it genuinely needs improvement, and log other website or marketing changes that complicate interpretation.

Compare without cherry-picking

Repeat the original questions near the end. Review accuracy, mentions and citations separately. Keep contradictory observations. Conclude with lessons, uncertainty and the need for longer observation, rather than claiming a controlled experiment.

Decide what happens on day eleven

Set a continuation rule before the diary ends. You might repeat the same sample weekly, investigate an unresolved source error or stop an uninformative test. Preserve the initial record so a longer study does not quietly redefine its baseline.

Put the method to work

Illustrative example

Illustrative diary: a business checks whether answers distinguish training from software. It clarifies the service page and observes both corrected and unchanged answers. Both appear in the final record, with no invented percentage uplift.

Your next steps

  1. Use unchanged prompts across the diary.
  2. Keep a dated website-change log.
  3. Report contradictory answers alongside improvements.

Questions & answers

Should I change content every day?

No. Frequent changes make interpretation harder. Investigate a specific gap while preserving stable observations.

Is this an automated Gavek feature?

No. It is a manual research exercise using saved answers and a simple observation log.

Documentation & further reading

Gavek provides focused public tools, a learning library and enquiries for separately scoped services. This article does not activate rank tracking, a backlink database, account connectors or automated CMS changes. See current availability.
