Advanced training should increase the quality of decisions, not only introduce more terminology. Build a programme around real technical, editorial and measurement questions. This is a learning plan, not access to a paid Gavek academy.
Start with demonstrated prerequisites
Ask participants to explain a real indexing issue, interpret a Search Console report and justify an editorial change. Use the responses to identify gaps before choosing advanced modules. Knowing tool navigation is different from understanding the assumptions and limitations behind an output.
Use projects with competing explanations
Select exercises that require a decision under uncertainty: diagnose a migration decline, compare duplicate page intent or evaluate inconsistent AI answers. Require participants to separate observation from hypothesis and state what further evidence would change their recommendation.
Assess implementation and handover
Review the proposed change, rollback plan, acceptance test and communication to non-specialists. Include AI-search observation limits and factual review, without promising citations or special access to an engine. Agree a follow-up review to see whether the learner can apply the method independently.
Put the method to work
Illustrative assignment: a multilingual business sees falling clicks after launch. Learners inspect canonical and language signals, query groups and release notes. Their deliverable is a prioritised investigation with tests, rather than a confident attribution to the newest AI feature.
Your next steps
- Check practical prerequisites.
- Choose a real investigation.
- Require evidence and alternative explanations.
- Assess the handover and follow-up.
Questions & answers
Does advanced mean fully automated?
No. Advanced judgement often concerns when automation is unsuitable and which checks need human expertise.
Can I buy academy access here?
No academy subscription is currently offered. Any specialist training requires a separately agreed brief and price.
