A partnership should clarify who does the work, who approves it and what information may be shared. Use this onboarding brief before joining a client project. It is not an application to an established Gavek certification or reseller programme.
Define the delivery boundary
Describe the work you can own: research, technical implementation, editorial review or training. Specify dependencies on the client’s developer, analytics owner and subject expert. A shared goal does not replace responsibility for individual deliverables or approval of production changes.
Agree access and communication
Request the minimum permissions needed for the agreed task. Identify a primary contact and a route for urgent incidents. Put reporting cadence, file ownership and the handling of subcontractors into the brief before information is exchanged across organisations.
Make commercial assumptions visible
Separate discovery, implementation and ongoing support. Agree how additional requests are estimated and authorised, and what the final handover contains. Gavek service scope and pricing require a specific agreement; this page does not promise commissions, partner badges or guaranteed referrals.
Put the method to work
Illustrative partnership: a content specialist drafts category guidance while the client’s developer owns template changes. The brief names the client editor as factual approver and gives the specialist access only to the draft workspace. The handover includes approved copy and remaining questions.
Your next steps
- State deliverables and exclusions.
- Name the factual and technical approvers.
- Agree permissions and file ownership.
- Set a review and handover date.
